I started up this journal because I needed a place of my own to write down my thoughts. Why don't I just have a paper diary? Well, I never really have the incentive to write in them that often, plus with this I have the opportunity to make it look entirely unique, and change the layout whenever I see fit. I have had paper diaries in the past - I had one about 2 years ago but I had the awful problem of my sisters probing into my private business and reading it aloud to my parents and suchlike... which is not good! I know that you could say that this is 100x worse because the whole world can read it... but that doesn't matter to me because they don't know me and so can't really judge me all that much. If you know me, or for some reason object to what I say in this journal, then I suggest that you go read the public disclaimer before you complain to me or whatever.
"Fruity Underpants"??
Hehe. I decided to call my journal Fruity Underpants because... ok, I am a huuge fan of Savage Garden and Darren Hayes, in fact I have a Savage Garden fansite here (hiatus.. kinda). Darren Hayes says that his nickname used to be 'Fruity Undies' because he used to wear boxer shorts with little fruits on them. I just thought that sounded quite sweet and funny, and thought that I could relate to it, hehe.
I constructed these pages entirely by writing the code in notepad, and the graphics were made in Afobe Photoshop, with help from my Wacom Graphire 2 graphics tablet.
