It's my Mum's birthday today ^_^ I won't say how old she is because I don't think she wouls appreciate that, haha.
I actually bought some new clothes yesterday.. woah. The other day we watched my Andria's friend's Romeo and Juliet DVD, I'd seen it twice already but I liked it more this time. I love the music when they see each other through the fishtank, and the choir.
I'm trying to do an essay... been trying to do it all today and I've only written about 300 words :((( what's going on?? I've started on a drawing of Darren Hayes because I haven't done one for years and I can add it to my Darren drawings folder (how sad?). Hopefully I've improved. At college I have a little Darren shrine at my desk now, I have a drawing from Kim at darrenhayesonline.net and another from some girl who did a really brilliant pastel drawing of him, I also have a tiny photo of him, and a disturbing drawing by Shari at survivebadblood.com of a girl with someone sewing her eyes together because she won't stop crying, and a drawing by kuro at aede.fireyskye.net... so I have all my inspirations there looking at me now :)
I got the 2 Darren Hayes singles that I couldn't get anywhere yesterday, found them in Crawley's HMV. One of them had the Crush vid on it. I've only seen that vid twice on the TV, but I really like it. It's all 80's colourful clothes and dancing and it's very cheesy, apparently Darren's Dad is behind the counter in it and I must say he looks like a scary man... he has a 2-tone beard and broad shoulders and a bald head. Eek. I wonder if Darren will look like that when he gets old? lol.
For some reason I had this craving the other day to download a sound by Matchbox Twenty because I'd never really heard their music before, so I just downloaded whatever song I came across first. The song is called 'Disease' and it's sooo good. I found out that it's on their new album and I'm gonna try and get my Dad to buy it for me heh. On my Winamp playlist at the moment I have.... Michael Jackson, the Pointer Sisters, Kool and the Gang, SG demo songs, Air, Matchbox 20, The Four Tops, Patrice Rushen, Shalamar, Madonna and Lionel Ritchie
Ok! I'm gonna try to get on with my essay now. This was only meant to be a short entry.

Half term...woohoo...!..? I have rather a lot of work to do! I have to do all of my research essay, my project to finish which we were given another extension of the half term on... atm I have to do an A1 sheet, and finish off the other three A1 sheets, figure out how I'm going to present my music interpretation pieces (was gonna bind them like a book but am now thinking I can make another 10, bind 10 and mount the other 10 on an A1 sheet, but I'll see how I go..) and I have to finish my 9 logos, print them and mount them too. Tonight I think I'll try to finish the logos, the A1 sheet shouldn't be too hard to get done once I've started it, but how are you supposed to make begging appealing to rich old people? I really need to get cracking sharpish... why am I on the computer just writing about what I'm going to do when I could actually be doing it? heh. My parents picked me up from college today because it would have been impossible for me to carry 6 A1 mounting boards and a plastic carrier with paints, etc.. in it the long walk to the station, not to mention getting them through the barriers and onto the train (probably hitting a zillion people in the process) and hitting old people on the bus. I've done it before carrying just 1 mount board and nothing else and that was bad enough. Oooh yeah did I also mention that I basically have to sort out what uni I'm going to by the end of half term? Stress!
It was boring at college today, I couldn't really do anything because I needed to use my computer and we're not allowed to go home to do work which is really infuriating. It was quite funny after lunch though because two blokes in my class, Billy and James, got hold of these fake hands from a mannequin which were just lying around attached to arms, they detached them from the arms and put them up their sleeves so they looked like they belong to them. They're very long slender womens hands, then they made them hold an empty coke bottle.. and it sounds stuuupid but I found it hilarious.. it was one of those situations where you had to be there to understand!
I was meant to see Dave this weekend, but I just can't now, I've got too much to do. I sent him a couple of texts earlier and they probably sounded a bit harsh like 'go away' or something because he took them the wrong way and thinks I'm moody at him or something stupid, which I'm not. I also hate it when people keep asking me if something is wrong, it's a bit annoying. I'm fine, I'm just a busy girl :P

I went for a drink in Horsham after college with a few people to the 'Lynd Cross' which is a Wetherspoons and so I was able to have double malibus and cokes relatively cheaply..yay(!) and I just arrived home to find this massive bouquet of red roses on the windowsill off the kitchen. Upon reading the card, said "From Sheffield with love".. so it wasn't too hard to guess who they are from. They are really beautiful and it is a lovely thought, truly lovely but I don't know what to make of it! I'll just take it as a lovely friendly gesture to make me feel loved..lol. I feel a bit guilty too because he gives me too much stuff, and I didn't even give him a proper present for his birthday! *Hangs head in shame*
Sugar pie, honey bunch You know that I love you I can't help myself I love you and nobody else
Love that song ^_^ was looking for the Savage Garden cover of it, and ended up downloading the actual version, along with some other songs. I haven't downloaded songs for ages! I used to have the SG cover of that song many moons ago, along with their version of "One of Us" which is sooo good, "You Sexy Thing" which is really short but good all the same, "I Can't make You Love Me" which is good too.... and I think that's it. I can't find them anywhere these days, used to have them all burned to a CD but I remember leaving it exposed to the sun and it never worked after that :(
Arrrr.. Valentines' Day is fast approaching. I'm not sending a card this year.... did last year. Was tempted too but don't want to cause any trouble, or seem like a stalker.

I got rather drunk last night.. I even threw up when I got home and I've never done that after drinking before. Then I had to go to work this morning and it wasn't all that fun!
Harry Potter! Woohoo look at all the tests I found:
You're honest, good-hearted and always with a good sence for right and wrong. Your friends have your full support and love you for being who you are. You don't want to fuss about everything and sometimes you loosen the "rules" a bit if you think it's really necessary.

"The perfect man is gentle Never cruel or mean He has a beautiful smile And keeps his face so clean.
The perfect man likes children And will raise them by your side He will be a good father As well as a good husband to his bride.
The perfect man loves cooking Cleaning and vacuuming too He'll do anything in his power To convey his feelings of love for you.
The perfect man is sweet Writing poetry from your name He's a best friend to your mother And kisses away your pain.
He has never made you cry Or hurt you In any way Oh, screw this stupid poem The perfect man is gay"
So true haha. I translated the last 2 verses into German and used it in one of my song interpretations for college.
Did anyone see Darren Hayes on TOTP on Friday? I hang my head in shame lol... he's going downhill. He was trying anything at all to keep his audience and therefore ended up looking desperate... he even tried moonwalking for heaven's sakes... oh dear. I bought the Crush single yesterday though. I dunno if there are 2 singles; I could only get one of them in Horsham because it's crap for buying CDs. I didn't even realise the song was out until I saw him on TOTP.
Talking about moonwalking... that Michael Jackson programme was rather bizarre, I actually found it quite sad that someone can get to be like that, living in their own little fantasy world, sleeping with children and such.... and that might just give paedophiles an excuse, by repeating what Michael said. 'Wacko Jacko' is definitely the right term to use I think. He kept contradicting himself, first of all saying that he had had no operations to change his appearance, then saying he had a nose operation, and then changing his mind saying he had 2 nose operations, and he kept denying that he had had anything else done, although it is blatantly obvious to everyone that he has, and he looks awful for it. He was so good looking when he was younger, I don't know why he did that, he has completely ruined himself. Then he was contradicting himself about his most recent baby, first saying that he had been the result of a relationship, then changing his mind and saying he came from a surrogate mother whom he had never met. I must say also that the scene with his holding the baby, feeding it with that green thing over it's face was frankly disturbing. America gets to see the documentary on Friday, let's just see what they make of it.
