I can't believe how fast this week has gone already - it's the end of Tuesday!! Aaargh! I have been tidying my bedroom up all day, I started at about 10:45 this morning, and I finished about half an hour ago. Now my room looks a whole lot bigger! I got rid of rubbish on my dressing table, tidied up my drawers.... I now have a Darren Hayes drawer lol... he was sharing his drawer with other stuff but now it's his exclusively... ok that sounds really sad so I shall say no more! I also cleared away all the old biology and geography exam revision notes festering away in my cupboards, on my floor.. and just basically everywhere. Everywhere I turned, there they were staring back at me so I had to do something about that. I should have done all that in the summer but I was lazy. I really need more CDs... and more clothes... but I'm saving up for a new phone which I am going to buy myself for Christmas, and I'd better start saving for family/friends' Christmas presents too. I was listening to Radio 1 for most of today, in amongst Liberty X and Darren Hayes... I got the Crush single through the post today! I ordered it from Aus a few weeks back on my debit card.. was the 1st thing I have ever ordered over the Internet :) so that's cool. There is a song I've never heard before.. can't remember what it's called atm but he sang it with Elisa Fiorillo, who has a really good voice (backup singer with SG on Affirmation World Tour) and Darren sounds really good singing with women cos his voice is kinda girly too.. haha. That's not a bad thing of course, he doesn't sound like a girl, but he has a high singing voice (and talking voice) for a bloke and it complements :) I was listening to Chris Moyles on Radio 1 for a bit and there was this odd 'appeal' to find an inflatable green tank in the Breacon Beacons... and they got people to phone in and stuff if they had 'seen' it, was rather amusing.

Oooh yeah I had this really odd dream yesterday morning, just before I woke up. It was a mixture of anything and everything.. here goes... well first of all it was all muddled, but I remember my Mum asking me a really rude question (but I can't remember what the question was).. and then I don't remember anything else... then I was with this bloke Alex that I've known since playgroup, and he was running in front of me alongside this artificial slope thing in what looked like some kind of hall.. and these big purple objects were being chucked down it (by people?!) and you had to run really fast alongside it to try and dodge the big purple things or you would get hit by them. It was some kind of test if I recall correctly. Then you could go behind the slope where you were allowed to rest for 5 minutes in between each run, and there were loads of cakes and biscuits behind there which you could eat. I was just there eating, then the view changed and I was in this weird aeroplane, where I was standing up, then suddenly I was in another place with my mum.. it looked like Brighton and we were walking towards the pier, but we were in Crawley and walking towards Crawley College, and my Mum wanted to show me around there (she recently did a course there). I was expecting it to look boring and old inside, but when we got in, it was all futuristic looking, with chrome and stuff, and everyone was walking really, really fast and even my Mum started walking very very fast and I had to half-run to keep up. We had to dodge past this chrome gate thing which didn't seem to have a purpose, and then went out a back door to the outside. However, it looked like the back of Crawley leisure centre out there, and there were 2 people from my class at college walking around. Suddenly my Mum wasn't with me anymore, and I was with a friend.. I dunno who it was though, and there was a train track running through the back of the college (leisure centre - the train I get to college runs by the back of the leisure centre). A train was going past and I was like "I've got to say hello to the train!!!!" so I ran right up to the track and there was this massive muddy puddle that I fell right into and it went right past my waist and I was all cold and muddy. then I got really giggly, and my friend was laughing at me too and asking what I was doing. Then I tried to say hello to the train again and went in the puddle again. I heard someone from the train say "hello" - I think they were saying it in some kind of foreign language, perhaps French, but it still sounded like English.... if that makes any sense!... which it doesn't because it's a really bizarre dream O_o Then I turned around and the leisure centre/college was gone and there was a river or something and I could see a cottage in the distance..... hmmm! I don't know what the hell was going through my brain! haha!

On Saturday I went to France with my parents to buy cheap wine, we went with a coach party from my Dad's firm and went through the Eurotunnel. My Dad's phone picked up this strange French network 'Itineris' or something. We drove to Belgium to get cigarettes for annoying people who smoke and Dad's phone network name had changed again to 'B Mobi.... something or other'. So anyways.. then we drove back to Calais and went to Cite Europe, a massive shopping mall right next to the eurotunnel entrance where we got all our booze. It was REALLY windy and chilly.

I got an email from Hayley today! Sounds like she is having a great time at uni and has met lots of nice blokes... I'm jealous! There are no nice bloke at all at college, loads of them seem really immature. I sent a long-due email to Lauren yesterday, finally!

What random character from random PSX RPG's are you?

brought to you by Quizilla
Cloud, from FFVII. You have memory problems- but don't we all? You can't decide between two girls who love you, you often space out when people are talking to you, and you tend to focus on bad things too often. Despite that, you would do anything for those you care for, and you try your best to please people. From cross-dressing to buying flowers while the city is exploding, you'll do anything for the people you love. Even battling physcopath's with big swords. Aren't you brave?

Sorry, couldn't resist... I don't like FFVII btw... I love FFVIII, I've started playing it again lately... but right now I've got to go do some work!
Oh yeah, I got an extension for my project over the hol, yay!! I'm determined to get a distinction :)

....ooohh, I should be doing research but what the hell, my journal deserves some attention! I have been sooooooooooo tired over the lest couple of days. By lunch time today I was dropping off to sleep, this is not good. Maybe it has something to so with staying up 'til 2AM a couple of days last week to try to get my project finished. Well I did get it finished in the end, but goodness me it was a mission, sooo much to do! We had to present it to the class on Monday, and then grades were negotiated, and I got a merit+, yay. Highest grade anyone got in the class, so I'm proud. Distinction would be better though, hmph. Well I didn't leave enough negative space in some of my designs, and I used pritt stick instead of spray mount to mount stuff up... so the paper sometimes looked a bit crinkly, it all has to be perfect if you get a distinction. I got a distinction in a piece of written work that I did, though! It was a book review.. so I'm pleased with that. We started another new project on Monday, I'm doing a fine art project this time. It's entitled "Who am I?" and all the work has to be related to ourselves, I have chosen to look at dreams, then I can write and illustrate all the weird dreams I have.. for example, the scary windmill dreams and the dream I had where my grandad turned evil...(that was v. scary)

Today we had to draw a naked woman instead of the man we have been drawing.. made a change. She's about mid-40's and has a podgy arse haha... I should know, I was looking at it for about 5 hours...then we had to make a clay model of her and mine turned out *ahem* less that perfect...

Oh yeah, I also did this, it's in the quizzes section of mewing.net. You type in words and it generates a story for you... there is a poem generator too but mine came out so crap it's not worth posting. So anyways, here's how my story turned out:

Once upon a time in the vast and rural land of Paris there was a little boy named Marcus who was 69 years old. Marcus had a cat named Cleo and together they enjoyed singing and kissing.

One day, Marcus and Cleo were taking a stroll through Paris, when they came across a bright, yellow car. Marcus and Cleo were very puzzled and they speedily ran away. But, the car ran after them.

At the advanced age of 69, Marcus was a very sexy boy and thus he knew what had to be done. He pulled his trusty ball from his pocket and screamed OH MY GOD!!!, Arse! car-dick!!!!! The car sadly exploded into the distance, and Marcus and his cat happily went home to enjoy an afternoon of singing and kissing

...hahaha...'interesting'!

I'm being a pain and keep adding all this 'junk'. But this is soo soo true, its scary:

because i thought this picture was pretty, laura of mewing.net told me this: "it seems you enjoy dancing, drinking, eating, orgies, and expensive perfume. you're the type of person who buys brand-name socks--but you are also the type of person who has been electricuted by the toaster at least seven times. you were at the top of the class in elementary school, but faltered in junior high, because you didn't understand algebra. your favorite singer, suprisingly, is prince, and in your spare time you can be found tinkering with broken calculators and atari home videogame units."
whatever will laura tell you??

October 12, 2002
Well, where do I start? Hmmmmmmm........ well, the last time I posted was on Thursday night, and I didn't get to bed until about 2 in the morning because I was up trying to get my project to an almost finished state. Then I was up at 7 doing a bit more to it before I had to go to college at 8:20. When I got to college, Doug (one of the tutors) said that Martin (the tutor taking us for this project) was still ill and he couldn't come in (he was away on Thursday as well) so that meant he couldn't assess it and so now we have the weekend to finish the project off, yay :) I just have loads of little bits to finish off. So I spent the whole day mounting up work and writing up some research in my sketch book.

At 4:00 my dad came to pick me up to take me home so that I could have a shower, and just generally get ready to go to see Darren Hayes(!!!!). I got back home at about 4:30 and left the house again at about 5:20. My Mum came with me. So we arrived at Three Bridges station at about 5:40. To our horror, there was nobody in the ticket booths who could sell tickets to us, and we soooo needed to ask them where the hell we were going because we had no idea which trains to catch etc.. to get to Hammersmith. We had to use the stupid ticket machines. We wanted two travelcards because then we could like go on any underground trains etc, and track back if we went the wrong way but the damn ticket machine couldn't give out change and we had £only £10 notes and no coins, and that wasn't good, so we rushed to the small shop by the station to buy some sweets and get some change, but when we got back to the ticket machine, the display now read that it also couldn't take banknotes! So what the hell were we supposed to do? I remembered that there was another machine up near the entrance to the platforms so we went up there, but that machine also couldn't take banknotes or give change. In the end we decided to just get on a train to London Victoria without a ticket. Luckily there was a booth the other end which sold us some travelcards from Three Briges, so that was good. Now for the tricky part, the underground. We went down there and looked at a map and really confused ourselves because it looked like you had to detour a long way to get to Hammersmith. In the end I decided the best way around it was to take the District Westbound line because that looked like it would take us pretty close but I still wasn't sure. When we got down the the platform we took a look at a map of the line we were going to travel on and got confused because the line forked at one point and went two separate ways. At that point, two girls came to look at the map too, and they wanted to go to Hammersmith also. They said they were also going to the concert and they seemed to know where they were going so we followed them. That train too us directly to the Hammersmith Apollo. It was one of those really old awful trains where the fluorescent lights keep dimming and flickering and the train is nasty looking, inside and out.

So, we got there at about 7:30 and went in. Doors had opened at 7. I bought a programme for a tenner. I was really annoyed at the Savage Garden concert (scarily it was almost two years ago - 11th Dec 2000) because I got there 10 minutes after doors open and they had run out of programmes, hardly anyone got them and that was unfair. I'm sooo glad I got one this time. I had never been to that venue before and was surprised that it was quite small. SG concert was at the Docklands arena and its quite a bit bigger (I think!). Our seats were in the circle, up high. I REALLY wish that I had known about the tour earlier because I could have got better seats, dammit! Ahh well, I could see pretty well anyway. I felt a sence of deja vu as I sat down, as I SWEAR I have dreamt about a place just like that once where I was going to see Darren (remember I had never been to this place before). It must have a been about a year and a half ago that I had that dream and it is soooo strange. The deco and everything... just plain weird. Anyways, I'm backtracing too much... thing started happening at 8:30-ish when the lights dimmed and these weird people came on the stage, they were like DJ people and they kept making weird arm movements and stuff, they were just hilarious. After them, Darren came on, the tell-tale violin sound of 'Creepin' Up on You' gave it away. Oh my GOD he looked sexy, very very very very sexy. Mmmmmmm. His hair is longer again now and it's still blonde. I dunno, I just love the way he moves and stuff. His voice is still camp sounding (yay!!) and his vioce is gorgeous, but he sounded like he had a bit of a cold or something. I soooo wanted to be down the front so I could see better. I had a FABULOUS evening, I think he did all the songs from the album 'Spin' plus some Savage Garden songs - the lovey dovey songs 'Truly Madly Deeply' and 'I Knew I Loved You'.He also did 'To the Moon and Back'! Was no way as good as at the SG concert because the guitars and stuff weren't there. He only sang like 5 seconds of 'Chained to You' in amongst a collaboration of all other songs mixed together which was very disappointing because at the SG concert that was the best bit of the show, it was amazing - Darren was wearing a shiny gold lame suit (hahaha - especially for that song though, before he was wearing jeans and a jacket with shiny bits on. At the Aussie concerts he has dressed up as Elvis) and he kept complaining that we was REALLY sweaty and that was funny. Last night he was just wearing casual clothes. 'What You Like' was really good, and 'Crush' was good too - they had good lights, then a bit of Madonna's 'Holiday' was mixed in with it (going along with the 80's theme of the song...), so that was great. I think the longest song he did was 'Good Enough' which is the worst song on the album in my opinion, it's really boring, but he made it sound better.

Oh yeah! Quite near the end, they all went off as if it had all finished, then the weird DJ blokes came back on and everyone was like 'get off, who are you?' haha. Then Darren came back out and started doing the weird arm movements too, and then started singing 'I'll Bet He Was Cool', which is a B-Side from SG's first album and hardly anyone would have heard it, so the audience was very quiet during that song! Of course I know it because I am like one of the biggest Darren fanatics in the world, so I was there and I was the only one I could see who was singing along to it, so that was cool. Haha. Everyone was like 'what the hell is this!?' because it's quite alternative-sounding. 'Spin' was at the very end and it was GREAT. There was this blonde girl who was next to me and she didn't know any of the songs from Spin, or SG songs from the albums apart from the songs that have been released (TTMAB, TMD, IKILY, Insatiable, Strange Relationship) and she kept issuing this high pitched shriek whenever Darren made a move, like put his arm up or whatever and that was REALLY REALLY annoying!!! She isn't a true fan! :P During 'I Miss You', this girl went on the stage and she started lying in Darren's lap and that was REALLY odd... obviously she wasn't meant to do that haha. Then Darren hugged her and she like wouldn't let go haha.... Oh I would sooo love a hug from Mr. Hayes :D I was looking at the programme on the way back on the train and there is this photo of Darren with this most beautiful smile. I have decided that Darren and Matt share a smile... they're like identical, how weird.

It only ended at 10 which is really early. We were back at Three Bridges by 11:45 and called my Dad to pick us up. I suppose it was good we got back quite early because I had work this morning. Phil came in and told me that he tried to get me an application form for Jaks but they had run out, so when there are more, he's gonna get one for me. Yay!

Oooooh yay I'm going out tonight..to Jaks actually haha. Dave is home for the weekend, and I KNOW it's gonna all work out tonight... unlike last time haha. It's gonna be f a b u l o u s. Ooh I also got paid today, woohoo! I have moneys, and my Dad has given me £10 allowance.. it sould have been £30 but I owed him money for things he has bought for me, dammit.

Okay, I don't thing anybody in the world would have the patience to read this massive post but hey! It's taken me a bloody long time to type! I'd better sign off I think before I think of more stuff I could add, hehe.

I know I haven't posted in here for quite a few days now, and the reason is I have been EXTREMELY busy!! This art course is very demanding haha. I'm working very hard to try and get it all done by tomorrow, which is when it is going to be assessed. The project is graphic design and illustration related and over the past 2 weeks I have had to do 90 separate A5 sized layout designs, all different, plus research, plus I also have to write an 800 word essay which has to be in later on in the month. I start my second project on Monday and it is going to be fine art related... so hopefully I'll have the weekend to rest up before I start that!

I got an email from Lauren (I'm gonna write a massive email to you over the weekend!) and a mass email from Charlotte, telling everyone what she's been up to in her first couple of weeks at uni, so I'll probably write her a little something too.

*phew* I'm off to do more work........ who needs sleep?!

Oooooooh yeah I'm gonna see Darren Hayes tomorrow night in concert!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

I am a POET

I know that rhyming isnt everything, and I use my talent to explore my mind's deepest and often the most eccentric corners, instead of focusing on the bad like so many angsty teenagers. Oh, and girls (as well as femmy guys) really go for my poetry...

What is your Alter-Ego

Just a quick little rant about all the weird stuff that went on today... some bloke started singing at me on the train this morning, I had a chat with Gemma about getting drunk at college (not actually getting drunk AT college...we were at college and we were talking about getting drunk hehe), then I was just sticking coloured shapes in my sketchbook all day but I only got 6 pages done, on the way home on the train this weird 40-something bloke kept talking to me and I wanted him to go away because I was very tired, then I missed my bus by about 2 seconds.. I was just rushing towards it and it suddenly drove off! So I hot home a whole HALF HOUR LATE!! GRRR!! To top it all off, when I got home I wanted to have a nice relaxing shower to get rid of my slight headache, but I couldn't have a proper shower because the temperature of the water kept getting boiling hot then freezing cold, over and over again. I questioned Dad about it afterwards and he told me the washing machine was on and that must have affected it... grrrrrr. I needed that shower!

Ahh well I got a yummy tea... or should I say dinner... anyways it's pizza! mmmm

October 1, 2002
Tired again today, well I was earlier in the day! I nearly fell asleep on the way to Tate Modern on the coach, but I had to stop myself because the only way that I could get a good sleeping position was to sit with my head back, resting on the back on the chair and I felt myself dozing off and my mouth open... not a pretty sight haha. I did sleep for about half an hour on the way back though. I bundled my coat up, shoved it against the coach window and used it as a pillow. The Tate was good, I just focussed on the still life section and made studies and notes and stuff like that. I think I filled about 15 A5 sides of paper which isn't bad really. I focussed on the still life section because I have never really looked at still life before, I have always been too obsessed (I don't think that's an appropriate word!) with the figure in the past so I thought I'd just go for something completely different.

Dave, Dave, Dave... I'm gonna rant about Dave haha... erm... hmm... ok...well...(hehe) This is what he wrote on his blog earlier today:
"Its very sad but I miss not being able to text, call, see and smell Michelle. Nightmare. The worst part of it is, is that the more I tell her how I feel the more she backs away...baaaad correlation. Hmmm so I don't know. Does she miss me?! I would really love to know how she even feels about me"
I'm gonna write to him tomorrow, but I'll just answer some questions for the time being on here where everyone in the world can read them O_o Well yes I do miss him loads, we have soo much fun together, we can talk about..literally ANYTHING, we have tonnes in common but are also different is so many ways, he is the sweetest guy I have ever met, he's a real gentleman and he smells absolutely gorgeous. There are things that we adore about each other, and there also things we hate, of course. About the 'backing away' theory... yeah maybe I do. I dunno... I think he takes relationships really seriously while I just take them in my stride...(I have talked to him about Matt on some occasions when I was drunk..or not and that's really bad of me because I don't know what I would do if some bloke I was going out with started talking about other girls, it's horrendous!). I'm not all lovey-dovey and I don't really like people saying they 'love me' all the time. Sure I love compliments!..but I dunno... he wants it all to be tooo serious I think and I just want a bit of fun! I'm 18, my hormones are everywhere, I don't know what I want from one minute to the next. And that's the truth.

I'd better talk about Matt too.. umm... yeah it's just a very intense physical attraction. I'm not going to deny this, when I see him my heart beats like crazy and I get shaky hands... eek. I can't help who I find attractive, and it just happens that the only times I see him are when I'm with Dave which is baaad because I feel I'm doing something wrong if I talk to him or whatever. Not that I'd go off with Matt if Dave wasn't there, no no no but I would like to get to know Matt, he could be the best camp friend that I have never had ^_^

I know Dave is going to have a fantastic time at uni, it may seem very scary at first but I know he'll get on just fine. Maybe he is a little over-emotional at the moment. I'd be petrified and sooo homesick if I was in his shoes, I reckon... ahh well next year beckons... aaaghhhhh!!
