"You are a true bookworm and dream of a life better than the simple, quiet one you lead now. Your good looks can attract the town jerks, but you manage to ignore them most of the time. Sometimes you feel like you're surrounded by idiots. So what are you waiting for? You don't need your father to be kidnapped to get out and see the world. Although you can be stubborn, you're also very compassionate and see beyond people's façades."
...But I specifically specified that I have green eyes... hmm! Oh well!
Dave surprised me immensely on Friday night when he called me up and asked me if I wanted to got to Martines...wtf??...he was meant to be in Sheffield! He had come home after just one week because I think the scary Northeners were getting to him, haha. He should have gone back again today. The evening had potential, but it obviously wasn't meant to be as things were going wrong, and he got a call from his Mum at about 11:30PM because his Dad had gone to hospital. He was really worried about his Dad and thought that he had better go home to see what was going on so we left. Later news confirmed that he is being treated for viral meningitis... this is scary, I have had a fear of meningitis for ages, I know the symptoms off by heart, and I'm pasically paranoid (appedicitis, too) obviously, luckily it isn't bacterial meningitis which can most certainly be fatal. Sooo, I hope he gets better soon. Dave wanted me to go round his house yesterday evening and I declined at first because I was scared of catching something, but I went round in the end, watched some TV, chatted, blah.
I went into Crawley today with my family and I was just looking around a shop with my sister, I looked up and this bloke smiled at me and said "Hello". That was sweet, I mean I don't THINK I know him :s, and if he was just being friendly, that was really nice :) Actually I had this weird bloke who I had never seen before and definitely didn't know walk by me on the train on his way out and say "Goodbye"...haha, how nice.

I have seriously been thinking about trying to get a job in Jumpin Jaks.. that would be soo fun! Much better than shitty Alldays anyways.. and there would be no old people! Yay. I'm gonna ask Phil if they have any vacancies. I went there last night with the remainder of my friends who haven't gone off to uni yet, most of them are leaving tomorrow. As always, Jaks was empty because it is a Thursday. When I went last Friday it was packed and it was great. It's much better with lots of people. Threre were these weird asian blokes dancing really weirdly and this bloke was stripping on stage haha...tacky!
College should have finished at 4:00PM today but we stopped work at 3:00 and then we had to disassemble the mannequin display (which I was drawing today) and move in tables and chairs in preparation for next week when we start our first project.. graphic design, yay.. but it's gonna be basic stuff. I got out of college 1t 3:30 and walked up to the train station, I had no idea what time the train would come, but there was one at 3:49... and they kept putting the time back on the display board telling you what time certain trains are expecting to come so that was annoying. When it did finally come, I was shocked to find that there were about a million people in an 8-carriage train, and I got squashed into the tiny corridor alongside where the 1st class (..pah its worse than ordinary seating lol) compartments are with tonees of other people, there were tonnes of kids with massive bags and suitcases who kept trying to squeeze past, then a couple of minutes later they would come back again and that was annoying. I literally had to fight my way out in the end when I got to my stop... baaaad experience!

Oh my goodness! I haven't posted in here for about two weeks!! Anyways, I'll start from last Monday: Monday 16th: I started art college in Horsham. I was worried because I had to get the bus from Crawley Down to Three Bridges, then the train from Three Bridges to Horsham and I didn't know if I was getting the right trains..buses..etc to get me there on time. All was well though as I timed it perfectly. College starts at 10AM and finishes at 5PM, except on Fridays where it finishes at 4. On the first day we were just shown around, and made to sign forms, etc. We did a tiny bit of drawing of some leaves, but that's it. In the evening I was supposed to go out to Martines with Hayley and Gems... I was very surprised that Gem had phoned me up to go there because she hates the place. But Hayley was out with work colleagues for dinner and we had to wait for her to finish that before we could go... in the end it got to late and she still hadn't finished, so we didn't go which was really annoying because I was looking forward to seeing them both. Tuesday 17th: We had to draw a massive drawing of balloons on an A1 sheet of paper. There I was thinking it was going to be easy... pah, little did I know it would be hard to draw all the reflections on them, and the fact that they are semi-transparent. Then there is the trick of trying to get them to look light and bouncy.. most people's came out looking like pebbles, haha. Mine was okay, not the worst. That day dragged on a bit though. In the evening I went tout with Dave to the cinema to see "Signs", which was a fabulous film, I recommend it! Wednesday 18th: At college we did another massive drawing of another still life, this time it was a massive bunch of cylinders... this was a bad day for drawing as I got nowhere near finishing it. In the evening I went to Jumpin Jaks to see some local band playing... I won't comment on their playing but lets just say they were less than perfect.. hehe. I saw Matt, he gave me a beautiful smile, and at the end of the evening I went to talk to him but the conversation was crap, it went a little something like this: Me: Hey Matt how are you? Matt: I'm ok, are you drunk? Me: Errr, no not really, maybe a little tipsy... are you drunk? Matt: Yeah, I am a bit yeah Then someone called me so I had to tear myself away from that riveting conversation... I got to see Hayley for the last time before she goes to uni, and I saw Gems who I hadn't seen since I went to collect exam results from school. Thursday 19th: I did life drawing at college with an actual 70-year-old naked man, which was strange as I'd never done life drawing before. We did two drawings, my first came out okay but my second came out looking completely rubbish, and it was supposed to be better than the first. In the evening I went to Jaks again, with the girls. Hayley had left for uni that morning so she wasn't there, and Gem didn't go because she was too tired from the night before. It was okay but Jaks is always a bit empty on Thursdays. Friday 20th I had to do this weird drawing thing where you cover the whole paper with graphite/pencil, and then scratch into it to create light and shade etc... I didn't like that much and we had to draw mannequins under a sheet with it. Mine came out a little bit crappy. In the evening I went out for the very last time with Dave before he went off to Sheffield uni. We went to Martines, then Jumpin Jas and it was fun. I love going out with Dave because he gives me lots of attention, haha. I had to leave quite early though because I was soooo tired from all the other nights I had gone out and I had to go to work in the morning. Saturday 21st: I went into work half dead. I went to Dave's house in the evening to say goodbye :( Sunday 22nd: I had the most wonderful lie in bed til about 10:00 and they I played computer games all day.. bliss! Monday 23rd: Went to college again and I got to be very messy with collage, paints, ink.. and basically any other media that you can think of, but it had to be in monochrome. We went back to the room with the plants and had to do a study of that. Tuesday 24th: Did another study of balloons, but this time with the mixed media. Mine came out surprisingly good. It's strange because I never enjoyed doing that kind of stuff at school, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Today: I did another study in the ctlinder room, but wen had to do it in charcoal this time. I have some compressed charcoal in a range of colours and it looks and feels so much better to use that ordinary charcoal. I managed to drop and break about three of them though. My picture came out okay, if a little empty looking. On the way back on the train I got a text from Rachael saying that they are going to Jumpin Jaks tomorrow night, I completely forgot that Rach is going to the same uni as Gem and so hasn't left yet.. hehe. It's good though because I get to see them again, yay! So I'm going out again, woohoo!
All this week I have been sooo tired, I don't know if it is just the long college day getting to me, or the shenanagans of last week are getting to me.. its probably a mixture of both but anyway I am ready to go to bed by 10, which is very early for me. I have to hang it out til 11 though or it doesn't feel right. I am actually missing school loads. I know I shouldn't but I do. I see Andria walking out of the front door every morning on the way to the bus stop and I find myself wishing that I could go with her. That was me not so long ago.. *sniff*. Ahh well life must go on, I'm gonna miss my friends but I'll just have to take that in my stride I guess. I don't know how I would cope with going to uni this year, I would probably panic or something! Dave left on Sunday and he phoned me on Monday to tell me how he was getting on, he sounded a bit lonely and swamped by Northeners... hahaha. I don't think I could cope with that, no offence to Northeners(!) but it's just that the accent is different and everything and I'd get a bit scared...
Darn it, I'm not traditional! *goes off grumbling* Ahh well she looks cool anyways.
1st Anniversary of the 11th September disaster... was that really a year ago?? It doesn't seem that long ago at all. Scary. I think they've all been on tenderhooks today, with planes patrolling the skies and whatnot just in case anything else happens.
I've been trying to do work for my holiday project, and I'm sooo damn slow at doing art. Sure, I could do loads of crappy sketches but then I wouldn't feel good about them, I like to take my time over art... I put a couple up in the gallery here, in 'art' section. I'm gonna get back to in in a sec, drew my Mum's dolls house today and after I have finished that I'm gonna see if I can do a succession of sketches of my lava lamp... I may do a CG too, I haven't decided yet. I got some charcoal yesterday, I hate using charcoal I'm soo crap at it so that's all the more reason to practice I guess.
Matt. Riding bike. Towards Felbridge. Looked misterable. Yesterday. Enough said.

Last night I dreamt I saw Matt in my shop and he had a girlfriend.. now why the hell did I dream that? Goodness me, the other night I had a weird dream too, I dreamt I was on this space hopper thing and I was bouncing really fast down this hill, then I came to this big mound of..stuff and I bounced all over that. I can't really explain, it would need a picture to be drawn to properly explain it, but it was strange...very strange.
I worked yesterday, the bloody air conditioning system has broken down and the place is like a sauna. Thank goodness the weather isn't hot too or it would be unbearable... but then they would probably be forced to shut the shop. Basically everyone was commenting on how hot it was, and I came out of there practically dripping with sweat, disgusting. I was working with Amy for a bit, she is such a sweetheart. She is the daughter of one of the older workers in the shop. It was good though because we got free drinks which was cool, but as usual I was stuck on the till which is in the hottest part of the shop.... pah!

I went out with peeps last night... okay, I drank 4 Malibu and cokes, 2 Barcadi and cokes, 2 VK limes, a VK pineapple and a glass of cheap champagne wine stuff... I think that's about it. Went to Martines, then Jumpin Jaks, was okay. Hayley had come home from her holiday in Italy with Gems, and I haven't seen her in 3 weeks, so that was fab. Umm.. I'm really kackered and feel like a zombie now so I'll leave it as that! Hahahaha....... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hmm.. I don't really remember what I do from one day to the next these days, days seem to merge into one another. I have been working on my CG of Spiderman today, it is actually looking pretty damn good, which is really surprising! I'm working on it right now.
It was my parents' anniversary yesterday.. I forget the number... about 23 years I think. As usual my Mum gave my Dad a card that she had drawn a naked cartoon picture of a woman inside.. what else is new, lol. It is in a really odd pose though, it looks like the top half of her body is totally twisted around the opposite way from the bottom half and it looks painful.
